Entergy’s Louisiana storm team has restored power to more than 90,000 customers statewide after 80-plus mph winds and a tornado impacted the southern region late Thursday night. While many customers will be restored sooner, crews anticipate restoring power to most customers by tomorrow night. A list of estimated times of restoration by parish is provided below.*

Our teams have restored power to well over half of those who lost service and could safely accept it again.

Entergy Louisiana crews and contractors are making steady progress on day two of power restoration following a storm system that heavily impacted the Interstate 10 corridor between Calcasieu and East Baton Rouge parishes, bringing high winds and tornadoes.

Entergy crews and contractors are actively assessing damages and restoring power after an intense storm system swept across South Louisiana Monday evening. High winds, lightning, fallen trees and flying debris impacted both the transmission and distribution systems and exacerbated restoration challenges.

Entergy crews and contractors are actively assessing damages and restoring power after an intense storm system swept across South Louisiana. In addition to reports of possible tornadic activity in Calcasieu Parish, the storm brought lightning and high winds exceeding 60 mph, resulting in power outages for approximately 92,700 customers at its peak.
