Entergy Texas Continues Work to Restore Customers Following Hurricane Laura
Crews continue work repairing heavily damaged transmission system.
Hurricane Laura Restoration Update – 9/2/20 @ 8:30 a.m.
Crews continue to make significant restoration progress after Hurricane Laura impacted Entergy’s electrical system. The remaining Laura-related outages in Texas will be restored in early September. Restoration continues for customers in Louisiana, but those in Lake Charles and in Cameron and Calcasieu parishes face weeks without electrical power.
Entergy Louisiana Restoration Evening Update – Sept. 1
Entergy Louisiana’s damage assessment from Hurricane Laura is now complete, with debris removal, repairs and rebuilding of the electrical system ongoing. As of 7 p.m. Tuesday, 122,410 customers remain without power.

Power Restored to More Than 50% of Louisiana Customers Affected by Hurricane Laura
Less than a week after powerful Hurricane Laura moved through the state, crews have restored power to more than 50% of Louisiana customers who lost service.

Of the 616,000 power outages caused by Hurricane Laura, we have completed restoration for our customers in Mississippi and most in Arkansas who can take power. Outages in Texas will be restored in early September.
