Credibility, Competency, Teamwork at the Core of Nuclear Training Programs’ Accreditation

This past year, Entergy Nuclear successfully renewed accreditation for operator training programs at Arkansas Nuclear One and Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. Accreditation for maintenance and technical training programs was achieved at Cooper Nuclear Station and Indian Point ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Center. In addition, Palisades just completed a successful accreditation team visit and will seek the renewal of its operator training programs in March of 2020.

Johnson-Thomas Recognized for Excellence by Alcorn State University

The Metro-Jackson Alcorn Alumni Chapter recently held its inaugural Leading Alcornites Under 50 awards gala. This event recognized leading graduates of Alcorn State University, who have made great strides in their community and career and who have encouraged others to attend the university. Entergy Nuclear’s own Alisha Johnson-Thomas, supervisor of supplier QA, was among the list of 15 distinguished graduates honored. 

Entergy WIN Chapters Attend National Conference

The Entergy chapter of Women in Nuclear was started in 2006, growing from its 112 members at inception to 472 members, currently. The women and men involved have remained engaged and excited to support the chapter, even attending this year’s national conference.
