While the state continues to grapple with the health and economic impacts from COVID-19, Entergy Mississippi has implemented an enhanced customer assistance plan.

Entergy Mississippi Completes Restoration Efforts
Entergy Mississippi crews have restored power to all customers affected by severe storms that caused 10,500 customer outages on Sunday, August 16. All customers who can safely accept electrical service have been restored. If you are still without power, check for damage to the electrical equipment attached to your home or business. If your electric meter or the wiring is damaged, contact an electrician to make repairs. If your electric equipment appears undamaged, call 1-800-9OUTAGE, 1-800-968-8243 to report the outage. Â

Restoration Efforts Underway in Mississippi Following Sunday Evening Storms
Entergy Mississippi has restored power to more than 8,886 customers after severe thunderstorms with strong winds caused scattered outages in its southern and central service areas on Sunday evening. The storm caused more than 10,500 customer outages at peak. We have brought in additional resources to assist with the restoration effort. All of our crews, contractors and support staff continue to work as quickly and safely as possible to restore power the 1,614 customers remaining without power. We expect to restore most customers who can safely take power by Monday night, though some customers in the Jackson will carry over to Tuesday.
