This year, Entergy Mississippi celebrates 100 years of operation in the state and a century of investing in the communities in which we live, serve and work through our support of education and the arts. A leader in helping advance support for education and workforce development in this state from early childhood to K-12 and post-secondary classrooms, the company has remained steadfast in our efforts to fund programs that help children and adults receive the education and training they need to flourish.

As students head back to school, we all know that a fresh haircut can make a world of difference in boosting a child's confidence as they start a new academic year. Entergy Arkansas believes that every child deserves a great start, regardless of their financial situation. Working with local barber shops and salons around the state, Entergy Arkansas will make it possible for children in all five service regions to receive haircuts for school at no charge.

For the first two quarters of 2023, Entergy has awarded $6.4 million in shareholder contributions to 467 nonprofit organizations across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. These grants helped strengthen communities by supporting education and workforce development, poverty solutions and environmental programs.
