Entergy Arkansas offers generous support for Ozarka Technical Center

MOUNTAIN VIEW, AR – Ozarka College Foundation recently received a $100,000 commitment from Entergy Arkansas. The significant Entergy investment will be used to support Ozarka’s Technical Center expansion in Mountain View. Specifically, the gift will support electrical upgrades and the construction of a new outdoor welding lab. The contribution also secures Entergy as naming sponsor of the newly renovated construction lab.

Every year, Entergy New Orleans celebrates Black ��ϳԹ�� Awareness Month (B.E.A.M.)by honoring the invaluable contributions of minorities to the energy industry and highlighting the critical role energy plays in daily life. This year, we partnered with the Greater New Orleans Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in ��ϳԹ�� (AABE) and other local organizations to bring the Power Circuit Tour to students at Lake Forest Charter School. The event sparked students’ curiosity in energy-related careers and offered them insights into the diverse pathways available within the energy sector.

Entergy awards $2M grant to Jackson State University for Power Grid Security Lab

During a press conference at the University on Monday, Oct. 7, Entergy officials presented JSU President Marcus Thompson, Ph.D., with a big check to celebrate the occasion.

Power Players pilot program welcomes MSU football players

Linemen of a different game recently toured Entergy facilities by way of a new collaborative effort between Workforce Development and Procurement and Supply Chain. The Power Players program welcomed student-athletes from the Mississippi State University football team, with the goal of exposing them to the company’s landscape, intimately meeting with leaders, and discussing their journeys after graduation. They’re the first group to experience the pilot program.
